Shipping & Returns
Vital Leaf offers FREE SHIPPING on orders over $50! For orders of less than $50, a flat rate shipping charge is applied. During warmer months, complimentary cold packing of heat-sensitive goods is included.
Please note: Orders are shipped Monday through Wednesday, except holidays. If an order is placed after 1 pm on Wednesday, it may not be shipped out until the following Monday.
If you have an order issue regarding the payment method or need to cancel your order before it is processed, please reach out directly to our Customer Care team at customercare@vitalleaf.com. Please include your name and order number in your communication. We cannot guarantee that your cancellation request will be processed before the order is shipped.
Customers will receive a shipping confirmation email with the carrier and tracking number included when their order departs the Vital Leaf fulfillment center. Please note, that we are unable to sell or ship to customers in South Dakota at this time and do not offer international shipping.
DELIVERY
Orders typically arrive within a week of receipt and customers will receive a confirmation email upon delivery.
Weather-related events, including extreme heat, and holidays may cause unexpected delays. Occasionally, mail carrier delays may occur for other reasons and are beyond Vital Leaf’s control. In these events, we appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience it may cause.
WARM WEATHER SHIPPING*

Vital Leaf CBD chocolate is sensitive to temperatures above 75°F. We make every effort to ensure that goods are delivered safely to customers by including reusable ice packs and protective wrapping in all chocolate orders. That usually does a great job of keeping things cool for up to 48 hours, however, it will not prevent melting in extreme heat or if there is an extended delay in transit.
Packages left outside in warm areas are more likely to suffer heat damage. Here are some things you can do to help us make sure your order arrives in perfect condition:
1) Select an arrival location that you will be at. If you are generally at work when your postmaster comes, have it delivered to your office! Please be available to receive your package upon delivery.
2) Do you have a PO Box? These locations are generally air-conditioned and are a great alternative to a package sitting on your doorstep or in a hot mailbox.
3) When your order ships, you will receive a Shipping Confirmation Email with the shipment method and tracking number included. You can use this information to estimate the delivery date and ensure that you can be there to unbox your goodies when they arrive!
RETURNS & REFUNDS
We feel confident that you’ll love our products, but if you don’t, please contact us within 30 days of purchase to initiate a return. Refunds will be processed as soon as returned merchandise is received. Return postage must be paid by the customer. However, all chocolate sales are final.
We take pride in the quality of our goods, and take extra care during packing and shipping. In the rare and unfortunate case that a Vital Leaf tincture, capsule, or body balm arrives at your door damaged, we are happy to replace it! Please check your order carefully upon arrival to ensure that it has not been damaged in transit. If your order arrives damaged, please contact customercare@vitalleaf.com within 72 hours of receipt of delivery. Please provide details and a picture of the damaged product and we will resolve the issue promptly.
Unfortunately, we are unable to take responsibility for stolen packages and cannot process refunds for items lost after confirmation of delivery.
